50 After Effects Tips, Tricks & Secrets for Beginners You Should Now 2019

These are tips that when I learned them I thought how did I not know this already existed if you have been using After Effects for a while you will probably already know a few but I am sure there will be some gems in there that will save you hava lot of time and trouble in your projects lets get started You have got some layers one has some cool effects on it that you like to apply to the others we can copy these effects up here in the effects control panel and paste them on to another layer but you can also select those effects go to edit and select copy with property links paste them onto another layer and if you change those effects in the original layer they will change on every layer they were copied to wherever they are in the project alright we got this texture set to multiply and we want to apply it.

to this Pentagon but we don't to deal with any maps or masks we can simply select preserve under lying transparency down here and itll only apply to already visible layers in your composition you can apply the blending mode stencil alpha to make visible onlylayers that appear underneath that layer you can also use the blending modes il ho uette alpha to get a reverse which makes everything underneath that layer transparent say you have got a logo or a vector element when you scale it up it goes all blurry or pixelated if you tick continuously rasterize down here it turns nice and crisp we Have got two layers doing some animation with their position to move them to the left with that pre comping might be tricky but.

we can create a new null object parent those two layers to that null move thenull over to the left where we want them and then delete the null removing all evidence that we were ever here if youve got a timeline full of layers and you need to see more of it if youve got your cursor over it and press the tilde key which is the curly one next to the one on the top left of your keyboardpress it over that panel and it will make it full screen and if you press tilde again it will minimize it back to your previous view it works on any panel ifyou want to navigate through your project quickly use the mini flow chartif you go into this text comp and press tab on our keyboard itll bring up thisflow chart wherever your cursor is it shows the comp that were in and on theleft it shows all the comps that this is nested in and on the right it shows all the comps that are inside this comp the stars and the balls the blue line indicates which comp you came from in that case it was comp 7if you want to change something in your pre-comp and see what it looks like in .

the above comps you can split your view by looking at comp in your view here opening another comp and dragging that out now you can go inside and make anyedits in this comp on the right and they will update in the main comp on theleft here and you can easily see how it will affect the comps above itif you want to alliance of objects together you can do that with guides just simply drag out some guides select view snap to guides and whenever youmove an object it will snap into position if the duration in your comp istoo long you can drag over your work area in your timeline view and thensimply right click trim comp to work area if you want to reduce the size ofyour comp perhaps to fit a layer click on the region of interest down here anddrag out the area that you would like it to crop to and then select a composition crop comp.

to region of interest if you want to parent one layer to another butyou dont want it to inherit all other properties you can alt or option clickon the property you want to parent and then pick whip that to the specificproperty on the other layer now our Pentagon is inheriting our squaresrotation but not its position we want to create a mask on this Pentagon that ourpen tool just keeps drawing shapes if we select tool create mask and drawover the top now it creates a mask the different blur effects and After Effectswork slightly differently box blur and camera lens blur get a more naturalblurring but it does take longer to render and gashing blur tends to be thefastest so choose wisely if you blur an image it will automatically assume the edges of the image are transparent so youll get this halo effect on the edgeswe see the layer underneath tick repeat edge pixels to stop that happening butdont feel too bad the walking-dead titles didnt realize this until season3 to cycle through the film or stroke modes hold alt and click on the squarenext to the mode and it will cycle through all of the options you can also hold alt and click through to cycle all the different tool modes if you want to duplicate a layer press control D to get another version.

and if you want to splitthat layer press ctrl shift d and it will split it at your playheadto move the start of your layer to your player press the left square bracket on your keyboard and press the right square bracket on your keyboard to move the endto your play head to a trim your layer press alt and hold the left square bracket to trim it at the beginning and alt and the right square bracket to trimit at the end if youve animated some transform properties like scale position rotation on your layer and youd like to add more while keeping the existing animation without adding a null or pure comping you can add the effect transform and this will give you more options to keyframe if suddenly youre bounding box disappears and you don't have the outlines of your shape layers visibleyou might have accidentally turned them off I did this all the time to turn theback on click this bounding box button here or go up to view show layer controls if your project panel suddenly disappears to get it back press ctrl and 0I do this all the time as well because that is the fit to view shortcut in Photoshop and I do it without thinking if you want to line up elements from one comp to another or quickly reference another comp.

you can take a snapshot ofit by clicking this camera icon here and then from whatever other come youre inyou can click the view snapshot button and it will make that snapshot visible for you to use as a referenceweve got the square moving with its position property to get the rotation to follow alongwe can select layer transform Auto Orient and select orient along path and now the rotation follows along to create a quick sine wave select your line go to add select zigzag toggle that down adjust the size and the amount of ridgesand then change the points from corner to smooth if youre tired of flat vector shapes use the roughen edges effect and tweak some of the settings to add abit of grit to your animation if you want to slightly expand or reduce the edges of your layer simply add the effect a simple choker and adjust thechoke map this is also great for adding rounded corners if you want to quicklyoffset or stagger your layers select them all trim their lengths to the amount you want to offset right click select keyframe assistant sequence layers .

click OK and then drag out the ends of all of themto convert text to a shape layer with the text tool selected right-click and select create shapes from text now got your text editable as pathsif you want to morph a square into a circle key frame its roundness at zero move ahead anddrag it up to its maximum roundness where it will be circle and there you are you can do basic math operations in any number fields if the number is in convenient to calculate yourself let After Effects do it this square is 400pixels wide and I wanted to move that far to the right so with its position property. I am gonna select its current position and add + 400 and press Enter and there we go you can use multiply and divide in here two if you need some free space on your hard drive your disk cache might beusing up more than it needs to you can clear your disk cache by going to edit purge all memory and disk cache and click OK to clear out some memory fromprojects you might not have opened in years if your project is getting bloatedwith a bunch of assets and comps that you no longer need you can go to fileand then down to dependencies and remove unused footage you can also reduce th eproject only the files needed.

in the comps you have selected and you can alsocollect all of your files and every linked asset into a folder which is veryuseful if you need to have the project on to someone else on another machine orusing another server if you want to know what comp an asset was used in you canright click over in the project panel and select reveal in composition which willtake you to it you can also do it in Reverse - you can right-click selectreveal reveal layer source and project and you can also right-click and selectreveal reveal in Explorer to find the exact source of that file if you need toreplace a file or composition you can select it down in your timeline find thelayer of comp youd like to replace it with in the project panel hold alt andsimply drag it into your composition or timeline window and it will replace itkeeping all the original animated properties select your comp in theproject window and drag it onto the new composition window and that will createa new comp with the exact same sized duration of that original comp with that comp .

nested inside if you want an image or comp to be the exact height or widthof a comp without doing it by hand and eyeballing it with a scale propertyselect layer transform fit to comp height or widthdepending on your needs use the search bar down in your timeline to easilyaccess properties like path or stroke widthwithout toggling down a whole bunch of layers weve got this pre compedanimation of a snowman shape bouncing and we want to add a quick shadow to itwe can duplicate it with command D add a fill effect select our shadow color thenadd the CC slant effect adjust the slant and the height send that layer behind and now we have got an animated shadow if youve got an animation in the pre compyou can change the speed by right-clicking and select a time timestretch 50% makes it twice as fast 200 makes it twice as slow to reverse itright click and select time time reverse layer if you have nothing selected inyour timeline to add markers to the comp press

* on your keyboard and till create a marker here if you do with the layer selected it will create one onthe layer you can double click to add a comment to that marker or if you hold alt and click the asterisks it will open up that dialog box as you create the marker you can also hold alt on your keyboard and drag a marker to extend itto encompass a duration rather than a single point if you want to reverse some properties of an animation you can select the key frames you want reverse dright click select keyframe resistant and time reverse keyframes and that will swap the values of those key frames if you want to an extended animation theykeep the same timing you can select all the keyframes and while holding altselect the first or last keyframe and drag it out to keep those proportionsexactly the same you can also press J and K on your keyboard to jump your play head to the nearest keyframe J goes to the nearest previous key frame and K .

To the nearest upcoming key frame if you have got a whole bunch of layer staking up your timeline and you don't need to see them all for now select all of the ones you want to hide click the shy icon lock the layer over here completely shy icon over here now theyr'e hidden and theres no chance you accidentally gonna move them now you have got a lovely clean timeline and if you just need to view one or a couple of layers in your composition window you can click the solo button here on as many of layers as you need so your'e not distracted by the other layers and so After Effects doesnt need to render those layers as well very useful if your'e using a lot of effector a render heavy comp if you want to apply an effect to the whole scene and know just one element instead of pre comping you can use an adjustment layer create a new adjustment.

Layer by going up to layer new just Millea and whatever effects you applied to that layer will affect everything beneath it change the color of your layers in your timeline to keep it organized click the colored square down here and choose any color you want if you choose select label group Ill select all layers with that color very handy when youre working with a lot of layers if you have pasted something and after effects has pasted them in the wrong order here our bottom text should be under neath this rectangle to get it to paste in the right order you need to select your to player first then the others copy or cut and then paste them and the layers that youve selected first or right on top in the layer stack if you want to quickly test a bunch of fonts select your text click in the font drop-down area and scroll through with your arrow keys till you find the font you like you can also click this starover here on the left and they will put them in this favorite folder so you can access the fonts you always use if youre annoyed that when you create anew shape layer the anchor point goes to the middle of the comp rather than the middle of the shape layer you can fix that by going to edit preferencesgeneral and select Center Anchor Point in new shape layers isnt that nicer Imade a short playlist of some related videos thatll think youll enjoy ifyouve made it this far.

The "1 Billion Dollar Morning Routine" -_-Habits of the World’s Most Successful People 2019

We have all heard that if you could win the morning you could win the day one of the ways to doing that is to create Regular rituals and routines so you don't have to think about what you need to do and if you can set up routines and habit see specially early in the day you could benefit from this science and momentum and create positive momentum as opposed to being active like how a lot of people do they pick up their phone the first thing they start reacting and driving distraction and and Reaction as opposed to proactively spending time with self-care and self-love and having a vision and a direction for your daySo lets get into it.

Now as I jump into this again. This is my ideal daySo sometimes I cant do all of this but I could do as many as I can so the first thing I do when I wake up is I recall my dreams when youre dreaming is that youre actually Processing and integrating and working on solutions your subconscious mind to the things that your'e focusing on during the day time But most people forget their dreams after that I get out of bed and I make the bed Okay and now this is something that is obvious that most of you do but if you don't do it Take two minutes and make your bed because thats a success habit Right if were talking about positive momentum the science momentum getting things done checking things off doing it with excellence then make your bed .

Its worse than one or two minutes because again how you do anything is how you do everything and have a good checkMark on something like making your bed is very powerful because it teaches you to be able to do somethingReally well and excellence like they do in the militaryand the other benefit is when you come back at the end of the day you come back to success you come back to yourBed already made after thatwhat Ill do is Ill go into the kitchen and Ill have a tall glass of water because you know We we use a lot of water and most of us are very dehydrated at night. Ill take my supplements thereI take my probiotics which is the big one because your gut is your second brainWe talked about quick brain you know being your brain in your headBut you also have incredible amount of nerve cells and your gut and so I want to make Trump thats being fed. And andHealthy so I take my probiotics .

Then what I do is I do my breathing right? Im thinking about the things onFocusing on here. Im thinking about excellence. Im thinking about hydration. Im thinking about oxygen whatever your breathing technique isI focus on breathing. So whether its box breathing or alpha breathingWhether its wim Hofs methodI do a breathing technique because I want to fullyOxygenate my body and you know my brain which is obviously part of my body also as well and maybe we can do another episodeDedicated towards that I do my meditation in the morning and also later in the afternoon or evening sometimes before I go to bedBut I always do an early morning meditationI do it for about 20 minutes mindfulness is so importantSo I want to have a clear mind as I enter the day and some meditation puts me in that space15-20 minutes some of you use headspace have on some of you use the muse device use some kind of technology. IMeditate then from there.

I do one or two minutes of just movement and this could be different .It could be cal ascetics it give me burpees But I just want to get into my body after I meditate And so I move it my body pretty intensely for a couple minutes And if I am in a hotel room maybe I am just doing jumping jacks but I am basically I am doing crunches for two minutes straight I am just waking my body that is not my exercise for the day Its just for me to get my heart rate beating and getting some movement and in my body from there I take a shower and I its cold shower and I do believe in cold therapy.

It works for meIt helps me to reset my nervous system ice baths are very powerfulBecause it helps like if you hit your knee you put ice on it to reduce swelling and inflammationIts cold therapy is a very powerful way of resetting your your nervous system and reducing inflammationso I take a cold shower when I get out I go to my normal routine right ofShaving and brush my teeth a lot of good stuffThen I make a tea and my favorite tea is like a brain tea you knowIts a its a combination of gotu kola gingko lions made some MCT oil and some other gems as I go through it .I sip my tea and thats where I write my journal and I am a big believer in journ aling I have been doing it since Ive been in college and I feel like some of the most amazing Thinkers of our time and in history they they journal and they keep Diaries.

I mean you think about Edison einste in?Da vinci even though their journals are are priceless right from there right from journaling since im writing and I liked writing Theres a lot of studies saying that handwriting is better than actually typing then since im writing already i am go to my to-do list and We all have an ongoing most of us have an ongoing to-do list of things that we need to get doneFor me the big thing is I just want to be able to accomplish As a total win Three things for work and three things personally and they dont have to be all epic big things. But I just feel like that ifI could get three of my work goals done on my to-do list and three of my personal things to do Then its been a great day. And you know its kind of like my friend clay a bear talked about a champagne momentIts like your champagne moment when your'e looking back at the end of the day saying yesterday. It was a great dayToday I crushed it today. I won and in addition to my to-do list.

I Also have a list to feel list because I feel like we are a lot of our who we are as our states and emotions and I think I dont want it to be just Where I happen to feel a certain way by accident its but by its design its the metaphorI always talk about the difference between a thermometer and a thermostat and thermometer reacts to theEnvironment and I feel like sometimes if I act like a thermometer I am just gonna react to everything thats going on in my world and I just might have a some good positive states as Opposed to being a thermostat where I said in advance a standard a goal you know my firm. I too feel list certain feelings .

I want to feel throughout the day so I could design it that way to feel loved to feel curious to feel bewilderment right connectiong atitude IAlso have besides that to-do list and to feel list. I also look at my to be list Like who do I want to be today? And you know do I want to be a good partner?Dont be a good friend and a good a good leader a good teacher a good coachI feel into what I want to be that day because not just about you know or notIts kind of cliche but theres a truth to it. Were not were not human doings right? Were human being so who dont want to be today?from thereIf I have time I will make time for the things that are most important is I read I read for about 20-30 minutesSo after my I do my reading then I go and I um I make my brain smoothie brain berries.

Which are your blueberries and avocado and your leafy vegetables? And water and everything and when Im done with that smoothieI go through my brain training in One of our quick learning online programs at quick learning comm we have an online speed reading course online memory course Thinking course academic success. Of course. Thats right - my my brain training and I like to do it in the morning because I want to jump start my brain my mind if you will And also my body and thats the goal for me and that focusing in the morning So after I do certain brain trainings which are all in our programs then I really start my day You.

πŸ“± Which Language Should You Learn for Apps?

Hi! This is the Wajahat Tech. My name is Wajaaht and I make apps. Now today I want to talk about "Which Language You Should Learn To Create Apps quot. Okay so today I want to answer a question that was left on... It was left today but it was on an older post. This was left on number...Daily Overpass 2 "Go Games Still Have A Good Market?" and this is by Mark Sol who said "Great insight. I am always interested in diving in app development problem is I don't have any experience. What language would you recommend to start learning? Im interested in creating simple app games or utility tools. Now mark Im just going to giveyou my opinion and everybody has different opinions. So I am almost like.... I was almost like I wasnt sure if .

I was going to answer this onebecause Im sure whatever I saysomebodys going to disagree with. So I would ask everybody else to putyour opinions in the comments toobecause let Mark know because were all going to have different opinions on stuff so. I prefer to use Javascriptcurrently but we use different languages for different things so.

Which Language Should You Learn for Apps?

So lets just take a lay of the land the languages that you could learn and these are theones that I know about that you could do apps with right? So there may beothers that are just never used.So youre looking at Objective-C Swift Java C# JavaScript Lua. And I dont .

I dont think Im missing any but ifanybody know any other frameworks thatuse different languages then let me know.I dont think anybodys ever done anapp framework with Ruby for example butI could be wrong right? So it depends onwhether or not you want to do apps orutility or utility apps or games so youknow because theres different wayslike you could learn just nativecode and the nice thing about learningnative code is that its free. Itsthe one that the platforms would likeyou to use so every time like Androidcomes up with a new version of somenew feature whenever on their newoperating system or same with iOS itsalways available first in native right? So that you could you know whatsgoing on you dont have to pay a lot and then you also have other framework assistant on top of that.So were looking at if you want to dolike iPhone game or iPhone apps you cando Objective-C or Swift. If you want todo Java then you could do... sorry if youwant to do Android then new Java right?

πŸ“± Which Language Should You Learn for Apps?

Which,Language,Should,You,Learn,for,Apps?,language learning,language,language learning app,learn spanish,language (quotation subject),language learning apps,which language should learn,how to learn a language,languages,language acquisition (field of study),language education (website category),foreign language,language apps,learn french,which language for android apps,apps for learning languages,language learning tips,free language learning apps

So and those would be the nativeones. So like if you want to do an Androidapp and you didnt want to pay any moneyand you just had a bit of time you couldyou know theres loads of resources outthere. You can just download AndroidStudio. Install the AndroidSDK and just start coding away. If youhave a Mac you can get Xcode and youstart doing that on an iPhone right? Nowsome people will use other frameworkslike I prefer...I do some of thosesome of those languages so like I will do alittle bit of Java. I do a little bit ofObjective-C very little like as littleObjective C as I can because Im just...Im just not that comfortable with it but .

I do like using Swift. The problemwith those native code...those native languages is that itsreally difficult to put those into otherother devices. So like if you wrote an app in Swift for example or Objective-Cthen it would be difficult to put itonto Android. So theres lots of platforms lots of frameworks that sit ontop of that so youve got or you know you have got Xamarin which is like C#and .Net which a lot of people useand for some reason every time I mentionXamarin somebody gets angry with me. I think once I called it like a Hybrid which you know they said "Hybrid is Javascript in native so it is not a Hybrid its native!" right? but my wholething with Hybrid I thought Hybridis like two different technologieshybrid together but so youve gotXamarin which is very cool which youcould take you know and you could use like C#. I think you use VB.Net but Imnot sure to create like one app that that fits both but the interfaces and the GUI you have to change theinterfaces a little bit for both.

πŸ“± Which Language Should You Learn for Apps?

So itlooks native to both platforms so if youreon iPhone it would look different thanit looks on Android. So youd have tocode those sizes different but youhave the core which is like thoselibraries. And Xamarin the reason Ihavent used it before it could be a bitexpensive and you know even thoughC# was my... as a contractor thatwas mymain language but I started to move intoJavaScript and I prefer using Javascriptmore right? Youve also gotyou know the Cordova based orCordova / PhoneGap based framework. So weuse the Ionic Framework which is verypopular and I really enjoy using it. Thelimitation of that is that you rely likeif you want to use some native functionality you rely on plugins beingavailable but to be honest with youthere are plugins everywhere. Theres so many that are available and its notthat hard to write them yourself right? But another limitation of those frame works is that its not like it sits inside a web view so itsnot like if you write a button or if you makea button its not like an actual button. What it is is a web page with a button on it with CSS that makes it look native right?

Which Language Should You Learn for Apps?,language learning, language, language learning app, learn spanish, language (quotation subject),language learning apps, which language should learn, how to learn a language, languages, language acquisition (field of study),language education (website category),foreign language, language apps, learn french, which language for android apps, apps for learning languages, language learning tips, free language learning apps

Which is you could say is good orbad. It depends on your objective. Myobjective is putting up products. When Ifirst started development my objectivewas to find it. So okay when I firststarted out as a developer my objectivewas to find the language or thetechnology that would pay me the mostthen it became the technology that wouldimpress fellow developers the most and now its like the technology that Icould do the least amount of work andput products out there right? So thats why I like using Ionic. I loveusing that framework when we do business applications right? And then youve alsogot uh youve got these kind ofcnewer ones like that are Java script but they compile into native.

πŸ“± Which Language Should You Learn for Apps?

So youvegot NativeScript and you have gotc React Native and Native Script is doneby Telerik and you know Iplayed around that just a little bit andyou could you know code everything andthen you run it through a compilerand well compile it into a native code sobutton is a button. It looks differenton Android as it does onon iPhone stuff like that and ReactNative is the one who was... I dont knowif it was created by... it may havebeen created by Facebook or recentlypurchased by Facebook. I think it wascreated by facebook and thatspretty cool too. So its the same thingits compiled code but the core is inJavascript so you can use a lot of thesame code and you can actually script it differently for different platforms. Sothats something we played around withquite a bit but havent actually released anything in those yetbut were not thats if you want to do autility app. But if you want to do a gamenow you can use native code to do games.Theres a book out there called "CreatingAndroid Games&quot.

I forgot it was by Apress. Itwas a huge book. I read through it andthey talked about using native code tocreate a game. Its reallydifficult there because youre actuallygoing into the lower level so like ifyou create a game you actually have theway that it works is you have like agame loop so you know it starts in theloop and it just kind of goes through andyou can code this loop and then throughevery iteration of the loop based on theframe rate you can move characters aboutand all this kind of stuff soeverything moves like that and itsactually fascinating theway it works. I mean I love doing thatkind of stuff but theres alsoframeworks that you could use that makethe job a lot easier. I we use Corona SDKfor a lot of stuff and Corona SDKthe main thing that I dont like aboutit is its in Lua right? And Lua is alanguage thats very easy to learn so ifyou want to just... if you just want to dogames Corona SDK would be myrecommendation. Lua is an easy language tolearn but its not like a portablelanguage. Its very difficult to takeLua and do another app like if you didwant to do a non-game app with it orsomething like that.

Now Corona says youcould use it for business apps and wevedone that for a couple business apps andit just it was really clunky and I foundto be really awkward experience right?Another thing about Corona I think Corona wasjust a Corona Labs which was just acquiredrecently by Appodeal so this alwaysgood because I get the emails because youknow I follow everything that Coronadoes and you know it seems like theyrealways being acquired. Theyre like thefoster children of app frameworks. Theyseem to always be acquired by a newcompany like every six months orsomething. I dont know if thats good orbad but anyway I love that platform buta lot of people will disagree with thatsay Corona is the best. They will say itsUnity. If I hadnt gone for Corona Iwould have gone for Unity. Unity uses C#JavaScript. You cancode for iPhone and Android its a bitmore expensive like Corona was used tobe expensive and then it was free andthen they started charging for...they charge parts for putting onsplash screen and charge you for thesplash screen.

I think unity is the same.I think you get it you couldrelease it for free but you have asplash screen. Unity guys Iknow theres loads of Unity guys outthere correct me if I am wrong in thecomments so. In Unity you could do 2D 3Dyou know if you pick up that skill then that would be really really useful right? And then also you have got Cocos2d-xwhich is a very popular one and that Ithink is an Objective-C or C++ and you could you know code for both platforms.Theres also a JavaScript version ofit called Cocos2d-JS which Ive had aplay around with but I never really youknow I think the document at that time... the documentation was not that good so its really you know really really hard to use.So thats you know where weare. Theres loads of different opportunities. The nice thing is youcould invest nothing but time and pick up some of this and I would like to say that its not as hard as youmight think and I know that its difficult because there are so many different technologies out there youdont know where to go and a lot of times you have to choose you just chooseone direction and go that way. If you go...I would say if you go native you cant go wrong right? because its nativebut then youre limited to one platform and you know it seems to be alittle bit more difficult right? Likewhen I use Objective-C I always feel...to me it feels like I am running with myshoes tied together like everything ishard right? But theres other people whouse Objective-C and theyre just so usedto C++ and everything like that thattheyre just like "I just love coding inthis objective-C. I dont use thoseframeworks or whatever" so its just youknow if you pick that up then that Ithink that would be good. So anyway Markget started. Dont keep lookingaround. Dont research it too much. Getstarted.

Go with Android.Androids taken over anyway. Go withnative Android and just you know get onwith it or you know pick up the Ionic Framework and start learning with that.It is better than you rather than learnthe language and then start in the codeI always find it better to start in thecode and then figure out what all thisstuff means and then when you go do andread one of those books it all starts tomake a bit more sense to you. Anywaythats just my opinion and everybodyplease let Mark know and also let meknowwhat you guys think if theres anylanguages Ive missed if theres something that you use that you think are waybetter. And again let me justemphasize that its not about the code its about the product and its aboutyou know getting it out there andgetting people using it. So unless youregoing for a job and you want somethingthat will pay you well then Iguess it is all about the code. Anyway thatsit for today. I will talk to you guystomorrow.

How does the internet work simple explanation

How does the internet work? The video you are watching now traveled thousands of miles from a Google Data Center to reach you.Lets learn how the internet works by getting to understand the details of this data incredible journey. The data center which can be thousands of miles away from you has your video stored inside it.how does this data reach your mobile phone or a laptop? An easy way to achieve this goal would be with use of satellites. From the data center a signal could be sent to the satellite via an antenna and then from the satellite a signal could be sent to your mobile phonevia another antenna near to you. However this way of transmitting signals is not a good idea.Lets see why.The satellite is parked nearly 22000 miles above the earths equator so in order for the data transmission to be successful the data would have to travel a total distance of 44000 miles.Such a long distance of travel causes a significant delay in receiving the signal.More specifically it causes huge latency which is unacceptable for most internet applications so if this video does not reach you via a satellite then how does it actually get to you?Well it is done with the help of a complicated network of optical fiber cables which connect between the data center and your device.Your phone could be connected to the internet via cellular data or any Wi-Fi routerbut ultimately at some point your phone will be connected to this network of optical fiber cablesWe saw at the beginning that the video you are currently watching is stored inside a data center. To be more specific it is stored in a solid-state device within the data center. This SSD acts as the internal memory of a server. The server is simply a powerful computer whose job is to provide you the video orother stored content when you request it.

How,Does,The,INTERNET,Work, how does the internet work, internet, how the internet works, how does the internet work?,how internet works, how does it work, how does wifi work, how does the internet work simple, the internet, how does the web work, who owns the internet, how does internet work?,how much does the internet weigh, how does internet work, the internet (media genre),how does internet work in hindi?

Now the challenge is how to transfer the data stored in the data center specifically to your device via the complex network of optical fiber cables.Lets see how this is done. Before proceeding further we should first understand an important concept which is the concept of an IP address.Every device that is connected to the Internet whether it is a server a computer or a mobile phone is identified uniquely by astring of numbers known as an IP address. You can consider the IP address similarto your home address that is the address that uniquely identifies your home.Any letter sent to you reaches you precisely because of your home address.Similarly in the internet world an IP address acts as a shipping addressthrough which all information reaches its destination.Your internet service provider will decide the IP address of your device and you are able to see what IP address your ISP has given to your mobile phone or laptop. The server in the data center also has an IP address. The server stores a website so you can access any website just by knowing theservers IP address. However it is difficult for a person to remember somany IP addresses. So to solve this problem domain names like youtube facebook etc are used which correspond to IP addresses which are easier for us to remember than the long sequence of numbers Another thing to notice here is that a server has the capability of storing several websitesand if the server consists of multiple websites all the websites cannot beaccessed with the servers IP address. In such cases additional pieces of information host headers are used to uniquely identify the website. However for the giant web sites like Facebook.com or YouTube.com the entire datacenter infrastructure will be dedicated to the storage of the particular website. To access the internet we always use domain names instead of the complex IP address numbers. From where does the internet get IP addresses corresponding to our domain name requests.Well for this purpose the internet uses a huge phone book known as DNS.If you know a persons name but dont know their telephone number you can simply look it up in a phone book.

The DNS server provides the same service to the internet.Your internet service provider or other organizations can manage the DNS server.Lets have a recap of the whole operation. You enter the domain namethe browser sends a request to the DNS server to get the corresponding IP address. After getting the IP address your browser simply forwards the request to the data centermore specifically to the respective server.Once the server gets a request to access a particular website the data flow starts. The data is transferred in digital format via optical fiber cablesmore specifically in the form of light pulses. These light pulses sometimes haveto travel thousands of miles via the optical fiber cable to reach their destination.During their journey they often have to go through tough terrainssuch as hilly areas or under the sea. There are a few global companies who layand maintain these optical cable networks.

These visuals show how the laying of optical fiber cables is done with the help of a ship.A plow is dropped deep into the sea from the ship and this plow creates a trench on the seabed and to which places the optical fiber cable. In fact this complex optical cable network is the backbone of the Internet. These optical fiber cables carrying thelight are stretched across the seabed to your doorstep where they are connected to a router. The router converts these light signals to electrical signals. An Ethernet cable is then used to transmit the electrical signals to your laptop. However if you are accessing the Internet using cellular datafrom the optical cable the signal has to be sent to a cell tower and from the cell tower the signalreaches your cell phone in the form of electromagnetic waves.Since the Internet is a global network it has become important to have anorganization to manage things like IP address assignment domain name registration etcthis is all managed by an institution called I CANN located in the USA.One amazing thing about the internet is its efficiency intransmitting data when compared with cellular and landline communication technologies. This video you are watching from the Google Data Center is sent toyou in the form of a huge collection of zeros and ones. What makes the data transfer in the internet efficient is the way in which these zeros and onesare chopped up into small chunks known as packets and transmitted.

Lets assume these streams of zeros and ones are divided into different packets by theserver where each packet consists of six bits.Along with the bits of the video each packet also consists of the sequence number and the IP addresses of the server and your phone. With this information the packets are routed towards your phone. Its not necessary that all packets are routed through the same path and each packet independently takes the best route available at that time.Upon reaching your phone the packets are reassembled according to their sequence number. If it is the case that any packets fail to reach your phone and acknowledge mentis sent from your phone to resend the lost packets. Now compare this with a postal network with a good infrastructure but the customers do not follow the basic rules regarding the destination addresses. In this scenario letters wont be able to reach the correct destination.Similarly in the internet we use something called protocols for the management of this complex flow of data packets. The protocols set the rules fordata packet conversion attachment of the source and destination addresses to each packetand the rules for routers etc for different applications the protocolsused are different. We hope this video has given you a good understanding about how the internet works more specifically about the amazing journey of data packets from the data center to your mobile phone. Please dont forget to support us at patreon.com. Thank You!

What Happend If You Delete System32?

Ah yes the in famous system32 virus that exists on all Windows PCs Well not really Obviously we have all heard the joke that system32 is a virus to delete it but its actually a critical windows directory But what would happen if you did delete system32?Obviously windows would no longer be able to boot But would you be able to recover it somehow? How much damage would really do even while youre deleting it and still running Windows? What would happen?Well thats what were gonna do in this video were gonna do a real-life demonstration of what happens if you were to deletesystem32 on your computer and quickly before we do that just so you guys have some context Why dont we go over what exactly system32 is and why its important because theres a lot of Windows directories So whats the big deal about this one? Like I mentioned before system 32 has a ton of critical files that are essential Not only for Windows itself but also third-party programs that are running on Windows So this includes shared libraries like dynamic link libraries or DLLs It has driver folders like for hardware and stuff that makes Hardware work and even some built-in core Windows programs things like the task manager or notepad all Exist in the system 32 folder and theres actually another similar folder in the windows directory called sis Wow64 and the while 64 stands for Windows 32-bit on windows 64-bit and basically this actually holds a bunch of 32-bitLibraries and stuff whereas the system 32 has the 64 bit libraries So yes when system 32 has the 64 bit stuff and since while 64 has the 32 bit stuff .

It doesn't really make sense Its basically just for backwards compatibility from developers who didn't really plan ahead But needless to say the stuff in the system 32 folder is used by just about everything so deletingIt would be pretty much catastrophic for the Windows installation. Now normally you cannot delete the system 32 folder Its protected by permissions. So even if you try to do it it would say permission toSo its basically impossible to do thisAccidentally and even if you are trying to unless you knew how to get around these things you wouldnt have anyWorries about deleting system32 by mistake but in this case we really do want to delete system32 So what I am gonna do is kind of mess around with the permissions and give myself access so I can actually delete it nowIm not going to show how to go through and do all that because its a little bit complicated And I dont want you guys knowing how to go and prank your friends by ruining their computer But needless to say well kind of jump right into it and I am doing this on a virtual machine So Im not going to destroy a regular computer installation so at this point were now inside windows and I do Actually have the permissions to delete pretty much all the files and there are still some weird safeguards in place .

What-Happend-If-You-Delete-System32,system32,delete,delete system32,deleting system32,delete system 32,system 32,system,what if you delete system32,what happens if you delete system32,system32 delete,system32 virus,deletes system32,what if you delete system 32,how to delete system32 in windows xp,delete windows,what happens when you delete system32,what happens if you delete system 32,system 32 delete,system32,system 32,system,delete system32,deleting system32,system32 virus,delete system 32,system32 delete,windows system32,borrando system32,borre system32,borrar system32,system32 folder,o que Γ© system32,what is system32,system32 cmd exe,delete,deletes system32,excluir system32,deletar system32,pasta system 32,windows7 system32,apagando system32,system 32 virus,supprimer system32,what is system 32,system 32 folder,windows

For example I might not be able to delete everything thats in use and seeing as its a system directory Theres quite a few of things in use but theres still plenty of stuff. Thats critical that I can deleteSo were pretty much gonna have some fun here Delete everything I can if I try to delete everything in bulk. It kind of blocks me and just doesnt delete anything So Im gonna try and delete large segments at once and then you can see if I deleteFolders and dlls I get the occasional error messageBut a lot of times it will let me do it and they do get added to the recycle bin and if you check inThere you can see quite a bit of things are getting deletedSo really Im pretty much just highlighting as much as I can in a large swath and deleting itIt seems to let me delete most of the dlls and stuffBut the folders it wont let me delete anything in it because if theres one thing in thereIts kind of weird probably a lot of extra permissions and safeguards are in this folder specifically But it seems like I am still able to delete a pretty good chunk and I guarantee this is gonna break things So right now Ive already deleted a ton of stuff and the system is already acting pretty weird So you can see.

I cant really use to start many if I try to click on things. It doesnt do anythingIOpen up menus and its just blank or itcrashes stuff really isnt loading random error messages all over the place and even when I try to go reboot by clicking the Start menu The power button nothing appears. So even without rebooting the system is already basically broken You cant watch launch the task manager. Everythings destroy at this point but Windows is at least still running So what Im gonna do is manually reboot the virtual machine and see what happens afterwards So Ill just reboot it now and we can wait for it to load and you can pretty much see itInstantly tries to go into automatic repairit knows right away that somethings wrong and the windows failed to boot and it says diagnosing your computer andIt did so much damage. Look right now it says automatic repair could not repair your PCso we probably at this point would have to do a Complete new reinstall of windows to get this computer working again.

if it was a real computer thoughWe can click through to Advanced Options and just kind of see whats there so we can click onReset this PC and see what happens remove everything and even and yep even that didnt workIt says there was a problem resetting your PCSo probably a lot of the recovery stuff is gone and we can even click through some of the other options in this troubleshooting Windows Environment and nothing really here is going to solve it. So really this Windows installation is destroyedThe computer itself obviously is not you could still reinstall windows on itBut its really going to be a pain so clearly through that demonstration. We can see that it was no surprise What happens when you delete system32 the Windows installation is ruined until you completely Reinstall windows and you really cant do anything with it even with the built-in recovery features.

It wont be able to fix itSo now going forward into the future if you were ever tempted in the slightest to delete system32Just to see what happens now you dont have to and you can know that lookIts probably not even worth it to do with the friends because you probably wont even be able to fix it yourself and they will Be kind of mad if they have to take it to a computer shop to reinstall windows and pack up all their data Not really worth it. But anyway hopefully this video was kind of fun wasnt too long. I don;t think so Let me know what you think down in the comment section. Have you ever accidentally deleted system32?Id love to hear about it. And also if you want to keep watching Ill put some other videos right hereYou can just click on those and if you want to subscribeI make a couple new videos every week so it should be worth it. So thanks again guys for watchingIll see you next time. Have a good one

If you have paid attention to anything technology relate drecently, you have probably seen headlines like these.Anti trust regulation is gaining a lot of traction in the media as well as in the Department of Justice. But in general, we have started to see what has been broadly termed a tech lash.A lot of concern about the role of technology as well asthe size of these companies and the impact that they may behaving on individuals in society.Since May 2019, the DO J has opened antitrust probes intothe likes of Apple, Google and Facebook. The last major antitrust action against a major company occurred more than two decades ago .Remember Internet Explorer?

Microsofts browser has since been eclipsed by the likes of Googles Chrome and Apple Safari. But it was once so powerful the federal government had to step in. Heres what happened. In 1994, Microsoft was on top of the blossoming tech industry. Its operating system was fast becoming the go-to software for professionals and casual computer users alike. But if you wanted to get on the Internet in the early 90s,you were using this.Netscape Navigator.Software which makes it easy for people to connect theglobal computer network called the Internet.Netscape Navigator was the king of Web browsers at thetime, but there was a downside. You had to pay $49 to install Netscape on your computer, the equivalent to about $85 dollars today. You could also choose from AOL or Prodigy, but those cost $9.95 a month. But these options were still light years ahead of Microsoftat the time.Microsoft didnt even have internet connectivity built intoits software until the mid 90s.But the new wave of popularity surrounding Navigator wasrea son enough for Microsoft CEO Bill Gates to pen a letterto the company in 1995 titled The Internet Tidal Wave. With this document, Gates laid out his vision of the Internet. He wanted Microsofts development teams to,quote, go overboard on Internet features.

Gates also laid out seven broad examples of the ways thecompany could conquer the Internet. One specific example, Microsoft needed a Web browser.Fast forward to the second half of 1995, and Microsoft released its brand new Windows 95 operating system, as wellas Internet Explorer 1.0.But they were separate. They were not bundled until 1996 as part of Windows first major update and this changed the game for Microsoft. It was a new way to get online without any extrainstallation. It came with the operating system. And best of all, Microsoft had the advantage of being amassive company that could offer its software for free. And it was a massive success. In just over a year, Microsoft gained 10 percent market share. This, of course, sent other companies revenuesplummeting. But I eat success might not have been purely from the popularity of Windows.Allegations that Microsoft began making it incredibly difficult to install other Web browsers began to surface. The allegations were enough to spark a DO J antitrust probe into Microsoft in 1998.The antitrust case against Microsoft was a bit different to how the law was used in the past. Before cases were based on one central issue: Was adominant company charging super high prices without anyone to compete with. But this case changed that.

The DOJ argued that Microsoft stifled competition by usingits sheer size to barge into the browser wars.It could offer Internet Explorer for free, included in theOS and Netscape would be cut out of the business from thevery first time the computer was turned on.If you suppress your competitors innovation and youre theonly game in town, and you keep suppressing innovation, surely thats the harm to competition. In fact, its one of the biggest harms to competition andits been known in economic field for all these years thatsuppressing innovation is even worse than raising pricesbecause youre preventing the progressive movement of themarkets. On top of that, if a person wanted to install Netscape onthe computer. Microsoft allegedly made it incrediblydifficult to do so.Microsoft, on the other hand, argued that people chose touse its operating system because it was simply better thanthe competition. But Microsoft lost.

The court ruled that the company had to split its softwareand operating system divisions in order to abide byantitrust regulation, at least at first. That decision was later thrown out in appeals court, rightas the Bush administration settled into the White House.By the time a settlement had been reached in 2001,Microsofts position in the browser wars was already beingeaten away by competition from the likes of MozillaFirefox, an offshoot of Netscape.Internet Explorer wasnt the only antitrust battle thatMicrosoft faced, Novell was a company specializing innetwork computing and software in the early 80s and 90s.The company was also known for its word processingsoftware, WordPerfect. The company complained in 2004 that Microsoft intentionallymade it difficult to install its software, just like it didwith IE. But Novells case spent a decade bouncing aroundthe courts.Unlike the United States v.Microsoft case that came before it, Novell lost.An appeals court said that Microsofts actions didntconstitute antitrust behavior. And the Supreme Court declined to take up the case in 2014.

Those two cases are really in great tension with each otherbecause the U.S. against Microsoft, as I would say, theopposite point of view, that a firm with market power doeshave a duty to deal fairly and not anti-competitively withthose who want to use its platform.Novell was acquired in 2014 and by then had left the wordprocessing business. Its unclear whether an antitrust case brought against techgiants today would rule in the same vein as United Statesv. Microsoft or more like Novell v.Microsoft.If U.S. against Microsoft is giving credence above Novellagainst Microsoft, it has a lot to say on controlling thealmost unaccountable power of the Big Tech firms.Accusations that Apples App Store stifle competitionresemble arguments that Microsoft prevented downloads ofother applications. And Google Chrome is now the king ofInternet browsers. Big Tech companies are also swallow ingup startups and smaller firms left and right. The tech world has become a winner-take -all affair.Tech mergers have faced particular scrutiny, especially incon gressional hearings. When a company owns four of the largest six entitiesmeasured by active users. We have a word for it. And thats monopoly, or at least Monopoly power.

The Big Tech executives might beg to differ. We face intense competition for all of the products and services that we provide to name a few examples.Twitter, Snap chat, i Message, Skype, Telegram,Google, YouTube and Amazon are for photo and video sharing, messaging, advertising and other services that compete with Facebook.Theres also concern that antitrust regulation remains toobroad to tackle techs problems.Antitrust is a sledgehammer where even if you have some concerns about specific policy issues such as privacy, whatyou really need is more of a scalpel. So it is this very powerful tool. And breaking up could result in things like breaking up teams that make innovation more difficult. So as Congress, the public and Big /tech itself startcalling for more regulation, Microsofts past antitrust troubles could hint at whats ahead.

Top 20 Windows 10 Tips and Tricks You Should Now 2019

Here are my top 20 Windows 10 tips and tricks. Windows 10 has been around for a while and there have been several updates released including the fall 2017creators update. I am going to cover several tips and tricks that I found useful all the way through early 2018. I hope you'll find them useful too. Here are my top 20 in no particular order. Number 1 - Spatial Sound. Give your computer an easy upgrade to 3D Spatial Sound with the new Windows 10 feature. All you do is go in the lower right corner and right-click on your earpiece and choose Spatial Sound. From the menu choose Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos. now I have noticed that both of those sound very much the same but the Dolby Atmosrequires a download of an app so I am going to choose the Windows Sonic and hit OK. Try that sound quality now and see if you notice the difference. Number2 - Steps Recorder. Steps Recorder is a way to record your actions in Windows 10and translates them to a handy document you can save and share. To run it go to your Start menu and type in Steps. Youll sees the Steps Recorder app. Click on that and it opens up a simple recorder with a start and stops. I am going to go ahead and start the record and do something as simple as open up a browser move the browser around and hit stop. It recorded all those steps including the images followed by a detailed step by step instruction of every movement you've made. You can easily save this to a location on your hard drive and then attach it and send it to somebody with an explanation of how you wanted to walk through some steps. It makes it really handy to show somebody what you're trying todo. Number 3 - Media Streaming. media streaming allows you to share music photos and videos with other people on your local network. To enable it to find your network icon in the bottom right corner of your desktop. Right-click on that and go to Open Network and SharingCenter. Choose this Change Advanced Sharing settings and hit the down-arrow next to all networks. Youll sees the media streaming menu with Choose MediaStreaming Options.
